Keeping Rural Broadband Deployment on Track in Oklahoma

September 28, 2026

How KGPCo helped Chisholm Broadband secure critical equipment, manage cash flow, and maintain deployment momentum across 12 counties

Expanding broadband into rural and underserved communities requires more than the right network technology. It requires having the right products available at the right time—and a supply chain capable of supporting the financial, logistical, and scheduling realities of a large-scale infrastructure deployment.

As Chisholm Broadband worked to deploy next-generation fixed wireless broadband across 12 Oklahoma counties, the company needed to secure the Tarana G2 equipment required to keep projects moving and meet completion milestones established by the Oklahoma Broadband Office.

Working alongside Expo Distribution, KGPCo helped provide the supply chain support and financial flexibility necessary to source and stage nearly $3 million in Tarana product while helping Chisholm Broadband manage cash flow, warehouse capacity, and deployment schedules.

The result: a stronger path toward delivering affordable, reliable high-speed internet to 7,848 underserved or unserved addresses across Oklahoma.

The Challenge: Keeping a Major Broadband Deployment Moving

Chisholm Broadband is deploying next-generation fixed wireless internet access across 12 counties in Oklahoma as part of projects totaling more than $69.4 million.

With significant infrastructure to deploy and firm completion milestones to meet, obtaining equipment on schedule was critical. The project required Tarana G2 products to be sourced in time to support Chisholm Broadband's deployment plans.

But product availability was only part of the equation.

Purchasing equipment at the scale and timing required by the projects also created cashflow and warehousing considerations. Chisholm Broadband needed a partner capable of helping ensure products could be secured when needed without unnecessarily constraining working capital or consuming valuable warehouse space.

The Solution: Supply Chain Flexibility Beyond Product Availability

Expo Distribution LLC serves as the primary wholesale supplier for Chisholm Broadband's SLRFA and CPRA ARPA grant projects in Oklahoma. KGPCo became an integral part of that supply chain, helping Expo Distribution fulfill its commitments to Chisholm Broadband.

KGPCo extended favorable terms that enabled the necessary Tarana products to be sourced and deployed in a timely manner. That flexibility helped Chisholm Broadband align equipment procurement with its project schedule while better managing cash flow.

KGPCo also provided warehouse capacity to stage product until it was needed, allowing Chisholm Broadband to maximize its own warehouse space rather than taking delivery of all equipment at once.

Together, these capabilities helped address several interconnected challenges:

  • Product readiness: Helping secure the Tarana equipment required for deployment.
  • Financial flexibility: Providing terms that helped Chisholm Broadband better manage cash flow as equipment was procured.
  • Warehouse optimization: Staging products within KGPCo's warehouse network rather than requiring Chisholm Broadband to absorb all inventory immediately.
  • Deployment continuity: Helping ensure equipment procurement supported the completion milestones associated with the projects.

The engagement demonstrates how supply chain strategy can become an important part of successful broadband deployment—not simply a means of purchasing equipment.

The Results: Supporting Deployment—and the Communities Behind It

The partnership has helped Chisholm Broadband continue meeting necessary completion milestones and successfully deploy infrastructure across its Oklahoma projects.

According to the intake submission, working with KGPCo has also helped Chisholm Broadband better manage cash flow, warehouse space, and the productivity of its own procurement team. Nearly $3 million in Tarana product has been sold in support of the deployment.

Ultimately, however, the most important result extends beyond supply chain performance.

The projects are bringing affordable, reliable high-speed internet to rural and underserved areas across Oklahoma, with the broader deployment expected to reach 7,848 underserved or unserved addresses in 12 counties.

By the Numbers

12 Oklahoma counties included in the deployment

7,848 Underserved or unserved addresses targeted for connectivity

$69.4M+ Total project cost

Nearly $3M Tarana product sold in support of the deployment

Looking Ahead

Deployment is continuing across Chisholm Broadband's Oklahoma projects, with many projects expected to be completed by October 2026. The intake form states that two additional projects will be completed by “May 1017,” which appears to be a typographical error and needs to be clarified before publication. [CONFIRM completion timeline.]

As work continues, KGPCo will remain part of the supply chain supporting Expo Distribution and Chisholm Broadband as they move from product procurement to completed infrastructure—and ultimately to expanded broadband access for Oklahoma communities.
