This year, our invitation-only KGP Pinnacle Conference will be held in Hilton Head, SC. We look forward to providing you the opportunity to meet with your industry peers and gain insight into the ever-changing communications landscape. Airports: The Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) is about 45 miles south of the island just over the Georgia border in Savannah, GA. Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH) is located approximately 5 miles from the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort.

Weather: Hilton Head weather in May is typically excellent, and this is one of the best months to visit the island. Temperatures this month are fairly consistent, with the usual range of highs being from the high 70s into the 80s. Average daily low is around 63.

Golf

Nestled along the Atlantic coastline, Port Royal Golf Club, named one of the “Top 10 ‘Exotic’ Golf Courses in the World” by World Property Channel and one of the “Top 75 U.S. Golf Resorts” by Golf Digest magazine, is located on the northwestern point of Hilton Head Island. This course sets atop former Civil War grounds and features historical markers throughout the course, describing events which took place on the Island.

Fishing

Come aboard the Captain Hook, a 70-foot fishing boat with a full galley, enclosed cabin, shaded and seated fishing areas, clean restrooms, and sun bathing area on the upper deck for those who just want to sit back and relax. Fish for sheepshead, whiting, black sea bass, weakfish, red fish, black drum, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, spadefish, cobia, and sometimes sharks too on this four-hour fishing adventure. All fishing gear provided.

Old Bluffton Walking & Shopping Tour

In Old Bluffton, guests may stroll the lazy streets dotted with 19th century homes, visit the antebellum Church of the Cross built in 1854, and wander into the eclectic shops, artist studios and art galleries. Flower boxes and rocking chairs, whimsical garden art and sculptures, lots of friendly smiles, and even a cat or dog lounging on store porch, will greet you.

FULL - Craig Cats / Backwater Adventure

Welcome to one of the most unique boat tours you will ever go on. The boats are called Craig Cats and are very safe and easy to drive. They are quick with 25 and 30 hp motors and maneuver like a hovercraft which makes them a blast to drive. Drive your own boat as you follow a guide who will take you on an interactive adventure. You may see wildlife, sea life and beautiful waterways to entertain both young and old alike. The boats are perfect for taking in the history, beauty and wildlife surrounding the Lowcountry. (This activity an accommodate a maximum of 18 guests)

Electric Bikes Tour

This tour dives into the fascinating history of Hilton Head and the Lowcountry’s heritage culture, Gullah. Enjoy a fun ride on our comfortable Pedego Electric Bikes with stops at important historical sites, including Mitchelville Freedom Park. Your guide will walk you through the site of the first documented self-governed community of formerly enslaved people. Helmets and a thorough electric bike clinic are included.
